NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Michael Vick is in talks to become the new
spokesman for PETA.
The disgraced one-time NFL superstar
serving prison time for funding an illegal dog-fighting ring is primed to do
public-service ads for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals upon his
release later this month. According to three people with knowledge of the
matter, the proposed endorsement is part of a comprehensive PR scheme aimed at rehabilitating the quarterback.
Other image-changing moves
That's not all Mr. Vick will do to try to rehabilitate his image. People
with knowledge of his comeback plan said it will also include mea culpa
TV interviews, PSAs and charitable donations to other animal-rights
organizations (or perhaps the formation of his own foundation), along
with the possibility of working with PETA. But this might be the mother of all PR jobs. Mr. Vick's obstacles are many: a hard-line NFL commissioner who wants to see "genuine remorse" before reinstating Mr. Vick to the league; individual franchises that might be wary of the backlash and potential damage to their brands from signing Mr. Vick; and an incredulous public that remains shocked by the story.

Thank you for the work you do and for being our friend!
Our Smiley has been missing since 5/12/08 he was 3 months old.
We believe we have not reached who has him.
Just to find he is happy and safe would mean so much.

Any Hatred Toward People or Animals Is a Fine Line.
On September 8th, 2009, Cowhead caused an outrage when promoting B.S.L.. Cowhead was promoting animal cruelty to his public. This will not be tolerated! while it was said by one person that the teeth should be removed, they claim it was a joke.
He also stated Pit bulls are an abomination from hell, and they should never exist in the first place. On that monday, Cowhead also stated you will never hear of a pit saving a child, they terrorize instead. He is miss informing the public and we are afraid this is going to contribute to a rise in animal abuse, especially for pits.

is to have all Bully breed owners come together to support their beloved breed and each other as owners. To promote this breed in a positive light,, promote and educate responsible ownership and to educate the public about the issues surrounding our breed such as BSL.
WHEN: SEPTEMBER 27th parade starts at 5:30 (please be there by 5:00 to register) trying to beat the heat !!!

2. Please keep a 5 foot space between all dogs at all times!!
3. No nose to nose meet ups
4. No human aggressive dogs/ No dog aggressive humans
5. If your dog is not dog social and you prefer more space please wear a red bandana, red shirt, hat ect and please let the organizers know at registration.
6 .NO dogs in heat please!!
7. Please bring water for your dog and selves
* Even though this is a PITTIE PARADE we welcome all breeds and their owners .
