Legal Protection for Students
Students K-12 have the LEGAL right to refuse to dissect a once-living animal. Today student choice laws exist in CA, FL, IL, NY, PA, RI, and VA. LA, ME, and MD offer informal policies, while similar legislation is pending in DE, NJ, and VT. Students play a significant role in their education, and their choices can make a significant differnce for animals.

This cruel disposal of homeless & stray animals is paid for by your taxes. Sponsors of petitions promoting no-kill alternatives have shown that it would be more cost effective & humane to fund spay-neuter programs, adoption schemes & sanctuaries.
