….Well….
This is the project i’ve been working on for a while now, and it’s taken a bit longer than it was supposed to, perhaps due to the fact that I was involved in many musical engagements.
Thanks to this i’ve matured and so the songs have a depth to them which is very creative and I am happy with their tone. I remember when i had all these songs in my head, produced, arranged and ready to go, the only thing lacking was other talented musicians as commited to the project as I am.
And then there was the encounter with Anton Beaulieu, who I met when I was a musician with Blackstrobe. The two of us hit it off immediately,as we share the same musical conceptions.
This meeting was crucial to the realization of what I have always wanted to do in a musical sense. We see eye to eye on musical genres and arrangements, which has allowed us to materialize our creative drive.
Two other musicians have now joined Animal Machine and will perform with us live.
I think that Edward and Audrey are amazing musicians as they contribute their energy, ideas and above all, their interpretation talents. Their ability to anticipate every detail in the songs, and share the same persepectives is pure chemistry…
Some people spend their entire lives trying to find this. I know I am fortunate to have done so.
The first Ep “Persona” was released in 2003 and the feedback was excellent.
I am confident that the new release ”Rumour Control” Ep scheduled for Jan 26th 2009 on Meant Records will receive good reviews.
I hope the new songs give you as much pleasure as we had in recording them!
Let the public be the final judge.
