Five gents. Five gents with smiles so charming they'll drag that girl right out from under your arm-because they grin with a swagger and rude attitude. Five gents dressed for a night of hip soul shaking, but they'll still manage to take a break to take you in an alley fight. Five gents - all bringing on a wall of sound that'd make Dick The Bruiser go cry to his mama. Once you see these five gents do it how only they can do it live onstage, there ain't no going back, honey. This is WHITETRASHROCKANDSOUL, baby! These are the Animal Magnets…

All hailing from Milwaukee, the Animal Magnets boys come together from an assortment of rock, punk and powerpop bands that over the years have rocked the masses in over 14 countries. The Animal Magnets sound is a loud, sexy, dirty scene-equal parts pumping R&B soul and sheer punk fury; one that carries the torch originally set alight by the likes of Iggy and The Stooges, the MC5, the Rolling Stones and The Who, then passed along to The Ramones, the Pistols and the 'better parts' of hard new wave.
Let's get to reading you the riot act…
ROB MCCUEN - A veteran frontman, even when he's behind a drumkit, McCuen has accomplished more on stages than many muthas twice his age. He's penned dozens of classic songs like "I'm A.J. Foyt", "Life Imitates Art", "Jennifer", "Drive By Shooting", "My Friend Jim", "Torch Song" and the classic "White Trash" and performed in bands that have been staples on the scene such as Dog Style Dandies, Trash Queens, RPM's, Red Ball Jets, The Carolinas, White Hot Tizzies, Rob McCuen and the Ruins, Liquid Pink and the legendary Plasticland. As if that wasn't enough, McCuen is also a racing enthusiast and published writer. The Animal Magnets finds McCuen in his finest form as frontman, yell leader and all-around ladycharmer.
PAUL WALL - Wall is an established songwriter, guitarist and frontman in his own right, performing for years in and releasing countless albums with bands such as Trolley, the Nice Outfit, The Exotics and the L.A Explosion. He takes on bass duties in the Magnets, and lays it down with style and moxy.
CLIFF ULSBERGER - The guitar player with "The Fastest Wrist In The Business", Cliff has for years graced stages the world over with his furious downstroke fronting the legendary Wanda Chrome and The Leather Pharaohs. Laying it down with no bullshit, meat-and-potatoes panache, Cliff is a natural link in the chain of the masters of raw rock and roll guitar. He's got Keef and Johnny in his veins-and when he's rockin', those veins are poppin', honey!
CHRIS TISHLER - The second half of the Animal Magnets 'guitarsenal', Tishler is also an accomplished songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and frontman. Tishler's playing style is the 'melodic foil' to Ullsberger's solid chordal assault, at times recalling the styles of players like Scott Gorham and James Honeyman-Scott. Some of Tishler's former and current bands include Johnny And The Losers, Mothers Room, Wheelie and CHIEF. For good measure, he also moonlights as a lounge singer in the 5 Card Studs. SCHWING, baby!
JOEL BEDKOW - Rounding out the Animal Magnets assault, one would swear that Joel is the bastard son of Charlie Watts and John Bonham. Solid, powerful yet tasteful is a good way to describe Joel's percussive attack. Joel has also performed with Cliff in Wanda Chrome for years and is currently in the band Ghosts of Dover. All that and after pounding the skins on every song like a Goliath, he still manages to look like one cool, collected and suave sonofabitch.
After a decade or so hiatus, the boys have decided to give it another swing. Older, wiser, but somehow BALLSIER than before, the Animal Magnets have dry-cleaned the finery, thrown on a new set of tires and are coming out of the chute blazing, honey. Together, they are a five-man tag-team of championship cagematch rock and roll, and they're here to show you the turnbuckle, jack...DIG IT!
