History of Animation Exclamation

--Copied from An-Ex.com-- Animation Exclamation Club was founded on February 16th, 2004 by Amanda and Joey Tripp. The first meeting was held at the Tripp Family’s living room with a couple of friends. Soon the club began to attract more and more people. With the new members and more on the way, the club then began a search for a name and identity. There were a lot of names suggested but everyone agreed the name of this anime club should be called Animation Exclamation Club, which was suggested by Diana Sylvester.

The small living room began to become cramped and the quest was on for a new and roomy home. The members asked around for the longest time then finally our savior Ocmulgee EMC donated free space for AnEx to meet.

With the new space AnEx had to downgrade from a 32” TV screen to a 17” TV screen. Suffering from headaches and eye trouble, the members decided that the time had come for an official club purchase of a projector. AnEx members raised funds and finally earned enough to buy the projector of our dreams. AnEx, also, launched its very first website on Ron Daniels.. server. After a while AnEx saved up enough funds to purchase its own server space and domain name An-Ex.com. --

Today's Animation Exclamation

Animation Exclamation has become a mulit-chapter organization, chapters are located in Rochester, NY and Eastman, Ga, and is growing everyday. With sponsorship from Right Stuf International, ADV Films, FUNimation we have become a popular club in the anime world. In July 2006, Animation Exclamation was spotlighted in Newtype USA! AnEx has an official sticky thread on The Anime Network Forum and a profile on the TAN Event Lounge. As you can see we are growing at a fast pace and we ..you.. want to join us!

Podcasting - In planning stages.
Panels - Members and officers of Animation Exclamation can host their own panel on a limitless amout of topics. So far we have had panels on cosplaying.
Online Video Streaming - A new addition to AnEx's online serivces. We host video on Youtube.com.
