Hi Ani , yes the Distressed plank went down real well Chickenbone John played both the plank and my reso i have put videos on my page on here (myspace) check them out , both have pickups in that i have made , the plank sold minutes after Chickenbone finished his sound demo :-)
i could make a pickup , you will have to let me know what spacing your after and how many strings it's for - theres some pix of the last batch of pickups i made over on my nation profile in the album pickups , along with the new pickup winder i have made at last

you would have liked the Fest there was a woman there playing 12 bar blues on a cello and a guy on a real cool blonde double bass - i may be building a cello for the woman from a small wash tub i'm waiting to hear back from her ! hehe! it's all good stuff aint it !

Hi Ani yeah it's a nice bit of wood it's spalterd Sycamore , looked nothing like this when i got it , i beat it up some added the false crack (no it's not a real crack ) then used my special Viniger mixture to age it some before adding the final oil finish - it's actually a light looking wood as it comes unworked the wood was let's say a off-cut from a park bench lol! - no i did not nick it i asked for it before it went on the fire ! wish there was more , i have just enough to make one more which i was going to make for myself but it seems Shane Speal now wants one building so i'm searching for more !
