Female Hero in My Eyes: Kikyou The Female Miko (InuYasha)- I believe it was the two ep special ep 148-149 (don't remember if that was the right ep number or not off the top of my head). It was a special reflecting on Kikyou's and Inuyasha's past all the way back from when they first met til Kikyou's death, there were some flashbacks on this in the series but this two ep special really pieced everything together. Well what i'm trying to say is Kikyou went through a lot: love, betrayal, being unable to live the life of a normal woman, etc, etc. I know if I went through everything she did only to wind up being brought back to life and to find out I was tricked, I'd be a bitch too and would probably have a lot of spite for others. Overall Kikyou is a strong woman, and can still show kindness to villagers and children as a traveling miko, yet be as firm as possible in battle even after everything she went through. A lot of people will spite Kikyou and say she's a bitch, but doesn't make you just as bad her in a sense? I think everyone should at least have a little bit of respect for her whether they like her as a character or not, but this is just my personal opinion. This is my Kikyou is the female hero in my eyes!
Male Hero in My Eyes: Guts - Berserk - The character development in Bersrek is absolutely fantastic. Not only is Guts quite possibly the greatest swordsman ever! He also has a strong bond and a soft heart for Casca as well as other members of his team that he protects such as Schierke, Farnese, etc. As the manga progresses the reader usually views Guts as more of a hardcore badass that will ruthlessly kill anyone who stands in his way, which is true to some extent. The reason I admire Guts so much is mainly because he's such a badass fighter and appears to be a heartless and ruthless brute in the heat of battle, but still remains a kind and softhearted person in front of those he protects.
Anime is a beautiful thing both artistically and emotionally and draws most of us in a deep story line, whether it be comical or serious. My passion for anime started way back, sometime around third grade or so...I saw my first anime...Sailor Moon. I had never seen a Japanese animation before nor had I heard of such a thing, however as I grew older I became more intrigued and interested in this thing called Anime I started learning about and watching other animes such as Dragon Ball Z, Neon Genesis Evangelion, etc, during my pre-teen years. I became extremely fascinated with anime. Japanese animation differed very much from the typical American animation I was used to growing up with. Now.many years later Ive become obsessed with anime, its a part of my life that I simply can not live without. I live, work, sleep and eat for anime! I respect all forms of Japanese animation even if the story or characters don't meet everyone else's expectations. There's certain animes I like more than others of course, but I've yet to completely dislike an anime. Because of the thought and work that goes into each and every anime/manga, I respect all anime as a whole. I came up with the nickname is Anime Goddess years ago, this is not because Im trying to make a statement saying I know more anime than you! Im known and AG solely because of the deep attachment I have to Japanese animation. Im simply a young woman who loves Japan, Japanese culture and most of all Japanese animation. ^_^

Hironobu Sakaguchi - Creator of Final Fantasy and founder of the video game developer Mistwalker! This man is like a god to me. Final Fantasy is the greatest video game series ever created in my opinion and I love each and every game that's put out.
Kentarou Miura - Creator of Berserk! My all time favorite japanese manga.
Masashi Kishimoto - Creator of Naruto! One of my current favorite animes.
