Music
Just about any music I enjoy, but these are my favorite music tastes: Classical music, Swing, classic rock-a-roll from the 60s and 70s, 80s music and 90s alternative, industrial techno, goth, folk and new age. And now here is a sample of the music I enjoy.

Movies
As I've already stated I'm a fan girl. Most of my favorite movies center on science fiction, fantasy or comic books. I also have several movies that I love that have nothing to do with fandom.***My top ten list of the greatest movies:*** *1) Star Wars *2) Clerks *3) Akira *4) The Quiet Man *5) The Lord of the Rings *6) The Thirteenth Warrior *7) The Pirates of the Caribbean *8) Gladiator *9) Dangerous Liasions *10) Marie Antoinette***I really enjoy homemade movies and videos. See my favorite video selections to the right.
Television
"M*A*S*H", "Forenic Files", "Law and Order", "Good Eats", "Heroes", "Rome", "Reeper", South Park in the early years, almost anything on the History Channel or Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, "Monty Python's Flying Circus", "Dr. Who", "The Young Ones" (classic Brit com from the MTV 80s), "Red Dwarf". I enjoy television, maybe more than I should, but these are the television shows that will stop the flipping channel monster in its tracks.
Books
There are so many types of books that I enjoy, and so little time to read them all.
***My top ten list of books, or book series*** 1) The Masters of Rome series by Colleen McCullough-the last decades of the Roman republic and the rise of Augustus Caesar* 2) "The Clan of the Cave Bear" by Jean Auel-story of a young pre Cro-Magnum girl raised by Neanderthals* 3) "The Stand" by Steven King-story of the Super Flu and what happens after "Captain Tripps"* 4) The Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffery-science fiction meets dragons* 5) The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling-young wizards growing up in a dangerous time* 6) Any fantasy novel by Mercedes Lackey-high fantasy in the world of gyphons, mercenaries, Heralds and Fire Cats* 7) "Gone with the Wind" by Margaret Mitchell- the classic story of Scarlett O'Hara* 8) "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee-a semi-autobiographic coming of age in the south* 9) The North and South series by John Jakes-the friendship of two American families from 1830 to the turn of the century* 10) "People of the Mist" by Elizabeth O'Neal Gear and W. Michael Gear-a murder investigation set in Mississippian Native America*.
Heroes
My parents, the men and women who serve in our armed forces, those who died rescuing others on September 11th, and people of conscience who fight, or who have fought, for the common good.****NEVER FORGET...09/11/01****

I was born in the wilds of PA, near the City of Brotherly Love. My family and I moved to the land of pine trees, peaches and iced tea when I was still a toddler. I have lived in Georgia ever since. I'm a daughter, an older sister, a cousin, a niece. I'm a wife, to a wonderful man who had been (and still is) one of my closet friends. I'm a college graduate. I'm a gamer and a fan girl. The simplest acts of kindness and beauty move me. I'm a good friend to some, a close acquaintance to many.
Who I'd like to meet: So many people. Okay, here's the smallest list I could think of (or you would be reading this all day...) Dead people I would like to meet, if I could: Socrates, Plato, Abigail Adams, George Washington, Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi. Living people I would like to meet: forsenic anthropologist Dr. Bill Bass, primate researcher Dr. Jane Goodall, Prince William of England, Bill and Melinda Gates, author Steven King and the gang from the show "Mythbusters". ***AND NOW...VIDEOS!!!***
Jeff Dunham!!
Going to the HARDWARE STORE!!!
Believe it or not, this was shown on national television. World of Warcraft is big in Asia, so why not here? Geek-dom becomes mainstream...I LOVE IT!!!This is a music video, set to Jonathan Coulton's song "Code Monkey".

I've just sent you a Heart Cake for your Willy's Sweet Shop. Can you please send me one back? The more gifts we send the more money we can raise for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
