The main purpose of EXP Con, is to celebrate and promote American and Japanese Video Games, Anime, Manga, Music, Cosplay and Japanese Culture. We aim to promote this event to not only to the seasoned convention-goers but also to those who have never heard the words Anime Convention
TC was born and raised in Chicago. He was always encouraged by his family to pursue his dream of becoming a professional performer. Attendees will recognize him as the voice of Kratos, the main character of the video games God of War , God of War II and God of War: Chains of Olympus, he will be reprising the role in God of War III. Carson has also voiced Mace Windu in the series Star Wars: Clone wars among other anime and video game roles.
Steve Downes :: Voice Actor
Steve Downes' has been in commercial voice ever since 1990. His first experience in voice acting for video games came in 1999 when he played the role of Gunnar in the video game Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator by Valkyrie Studios. Although a relatively minor role, his performance caught the attention of the voice acting director and composer of the game, Martin "Marty" O'Donnell. When Marty began working on the video game Halo: Combat Evolved at Bungie Studios, he invited Steve to voice the game's main character, the Master Chief. He would go on to become the man who would voice one of the most iconic video game figures in history, Master Chief, for the duration of the Halo series.
Vic Mignogna :: Voice Actor
Vic has been acting for stage and screen since he was 8 years old. But he started his career in anime about ten years ago as Vega in Streetfighter II. Since then Vic has been in more than a hundred shows, known for such roles as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, Tamaki Suou in Ouran High School Host Club, Fai in Tsubasa Chronicle, Dark in DN Angel, Kurz in Full Metal Panic, Broly in Dragonball Z, Ikkaku in Bleach, Yukito in Air, Luciano in Code Geass, Virgil Walsh in Trinity Blood, and many more. Vic has also voiced roles in a large number of video games including Soul Calibur, Disgaea, Persona III, Project Sylpheed, DBZ, Bleach, FMA and more. As well as being a voice actor, he is also a music composer / singer / producer who has written and produced hundreds of songs for TV, radio, and CD, sings themes for shows like One Piece & DBGT, and has produced several CDs of his own original music.
Troy Baker :: Voice Actor
A native of Dallas, Texas, Troy first began working as an actor in TV and Radio commercials. He quickly became a mainstay voice actor of the anime community with such roles as 'Frank Archer' in Full Metal Alchemist, 'Abel Nightroad' in Trinity Blood, 'Gennosuke' in Basilisk and 'Action Bastard' in Shin Chan. Troy can also be heard in lead roles for blockbuster video game titles like Kanji Tatsumi in Persona 4 (Atlus), Yuri Lowell in Tales of Vesperia (namco), Red Faction: Guerrilla (Volition), the Brothers In Arms Franchise (Ubisoft), Ghostbusters: The Video Game (Atari),Bloodrayne 2 (Majesco), Aeon Flux (Majesco), Resistance 2 (Insomniac), Trauma Center:New Blood (Atlus), and Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (FunCom).
Ashley 'AnimeBelle' Clark :: Guest Artist
Ashley is a multi-media artist and writer, and has been working in the anime style for nearly a decade. Her first webcomic, 'Shades of Red', debuted in 2003. She has since turned her attention to her newest literary project, 'Tales of Asajima'. You can enter the world of Asajima through the webnovel 'Nowaki', and continue your journey with the first of her print novels, 'The Yukari'. Ashley has won numerous awards as not only an artist, but also as an AMV creator, cosplayer, and film editor. Within the anime community, Ashley is widely known as Anna May Belle, webmistress of AnimeBelle.com, one of the most highly regarded and popular anime websites in the south.
Heather Scott :: Guest Artist
Heather Scott first dabbled in the realms of comic creation by illustrating little 1-shot stories for her younger brother. Since then her love of driving plots through sequential art has blossomed onto the independent-comic scene where she has worked on a number of illustrated stories through her own studio. As the owner of Dragonmun Studios, Heather has worked on a number of comic titles such as "Samurai Mushroom", "Wyrm Eat Brain", Joe Gallagher's "Freeland", and her own on-going comic series "Sivoa". In addition to her comic work Heather has illustrated for the Write-on Speakers Bureau and "Captain Halloween", a children's book about Halloween's first super hero.
CJ 'Kefka' Collins :: Featured Cosplayer
CJ has gained a name for himself in the cosplay community and on the con circuit for both his remarkable acting skills and his "laugh out loud" funny film work. Infact the videos he's directed and uploaded to his lolfilmworks youtube account have been so well recieved that C.J. has been promoted to being Stephanie Chateau's co-director in Concept Galaxy's film work for shows they put on at conventions. C.J.'s experience in acting and film work comes from 8 years of acting and film classes and an extensive amount of participation in community theatre. C.J. also holds a lot of respect in the cosplay community for creating "Bonzai Anime" a community of cosplayers who's motto is "Cosplay is for fun!" as a way to encourage cosplayers to see cosplay as not about winning or being on top, but about having fun with friends and family while entertaining those around you.
Ben Pearce :: Featured Cosplayer
Like many others in the cosplay scene, Benjamin Pearce is a peculiar person. Behind the mask, the entertainer doesn’t look like your average anime or video game fanatic, but under the stern and somewhat goofy exterior, he’s a crazed fan of both genres along with being an avid fan of the theatre and holds a two-year degree in the field. Though the hardships and responsibilities he’s taken on in life have him working a 9-5 day job at a computer desk, Ben’s love for the stage shines through with his outstanding performances as the Final Fantasy summon, Ifrit. With Ifrit being his debut into the cosplay realm, Ben has managed to meet a variety of people; one of which being Stephanie Chateau of Concept Galaxy, and he’s been more than happy to do a dance or two for the company. Cosplaying Ifrit also lead Ben to CJ Collins, where the two became friends as well as the founding members of the cosplay troupe Bonzai Anime. In addition to the creation of Bonzai Anime, Ben has recently worked with his wife and CJ on the side, writing scripts for videos and skits under Boco and Mog Entertainment. Though all the effort is just for fun and he enjoys being a part of even the smallest performances, Ben hopes that acting will eventually become his day job. Until then, he “keeps it kupo” and encourages everyone to smile and laugh along with him.
Chuck Stroschein :: Entertainment Guest
Chuck Stroschein, a.k.a. "Breakdancing" Kakashi, was first discovered by Concept Galaxy Producer Stephanie Chateau, by chance, while he performed for a cosplay contest at Anime Festival Orlando 2008. Shortly after his performance at Anime X Gamer Experience 2008 he was invited to be a permanent member of the team as the Assistant Dance choreographer to Peter Thomas, a.k.a. "Thriller" Cloud, and Stunt Coordinator for all of Concept Galaxy's future productions. Since Chuck's initiation, he has quickly proved himself to be an invaluable addition to the team, blowing kids away when he made his first guest appearance this year at "Anime School House Rock" and recently teaming up with Peter Thomas for a dance routine at Anime Festival Orlando 2009 that won "Best of Show."
Peter Thomas :: Entertainment Guest
Peter Tomas (aka Thriller Cloud) is Concept Galaxy's newest cosplay star! Peter was originally picked up by Stephanie Chateau to perform for "Anime Night Live" after she stumbled across youtube videos of him dancing in the hallways of conventions just for fun. As Stephanie and C.J. began working more closely with Peter they realized he could do a lot more then just dance! Peter is now the Lead Dance Coreographer, a writer, and an actor for Concept Galaxy. This multi-talented Powerhouse Cosplayer gets his writing experience from attending the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, his dancing experience from watching and mimicking 80's pop star idols Michael and Janet Jackson, and his acting experience from being forced to do plays in high school by his teachers.
The Man Power :: Musical Guest
Formed in 2006 as a rock n roll power house, The Man Power has always been known for its over the top, unpredictable live shows, catchy songs, memorable hooks, and dedication to its fans. In 2008, The Man Power self-released its first self titled EP and played several shows to support the effort including a CD release show with Japanese punk rock kings Peelander-Z. The band played everywhere from rock clubs to anime conventions to basements in order to spread the word of the new record.The Man Power currently consists of Chris Sexxx on vocals and lead guitar, David Debauchery on guitar and swagger, and Cody War Hammer on drums.
Random Encounter :: Musical Guest
Random Encounter is a collective of individuals dedicated to adapting video game (and anime) music to a live setting. Because most of the songs they cover are considered background music a lot of work has to go into adaptation so that the songs can endure a live rock performance while at the same time staying true to the original melodies and intent.

When is this Saturday event? The website says April 4th, but the bulletin says April 25th. It's causing me a lot of confusion, and I'm pretty sure it's going to confuse several attendees who may end up missing the event.
