About me:
Major update needed when i hit my next computer-hyper-cycle (meaning on it for way too long at a time).
In short for now,

below is initial profile, still mostly relevant except for the exciting stuff and currently cave-dwelling Animus Pugna material (thinking of changing the name to AnimusWar, yay or nay?):
I'm also the one-man electro/synth act by the name Animus Pugna. This is literal Latin for "Spirit Battle", and based from
Ephesians 6:12:
"For our struggle is not against the flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
I'm a music nut and my influences range widely from Assemblage 23, Monolithic, VNV Nation, the Cure, Single Gun Theory, Sky Cries Mary to Suzanne Vega, the Smiths, the Pixies, Portishead and Shallow (Canadian) to name a few. toss in some Tom Petty/Heartbreakers, Lionel Ritchie, Queensryche and call it a cake.
I hope to make this space much more exciting very soon! i tried it out for a few weeks and decided i really like it, and have made a number of friends along the way. i just need to take the time to learn more about amping up my page here, and i also have to keep my obligations to updating/maintaining my band's official website at: nowhere currently as of 4/09. soon. soon is relative. relatives are family and friends. family and friends are neat, dare i say keen. neeto-keen to be edgy in this edgyorsomethingwhateverthekidsaresayingthesedays world.
Quick mindblowing concept via my favorite locker partner; Amoebas rule the Earth. human technology pursues it constantly: One single-cell being containing everything it'll ever need and more. integrate and consolidate, streamline and simplify...but to what end? i'll tell ya right now: chickens. the whole "chicken/egg" thing is easy. eggs don't lay themselves. duh.

the Animus Pugna album I'd hoped to deliver by Christmas is running a bit late (what year did i write this?)...it's definately on the way, but i cannot give any solid dates/month right now. please bear with me, as i've been busy living, and thus gathering more material and inspiration for my music. i've also been learning/practicing more electronic/computer-based software and techniques on how to use it all in effort to enhance my Animus Pugna sound. check out the official site here: Nowhere, that's where, for now. the gnomes are resting, licking their wounds; the trolls are augmenting their forces, however.
