Anita Jardine has been penning songs since dinosaurs roamed the land and is acknowledged by her best friend to be a legend in her living room.Her heartfelt singing and classically rooted piano playing have led to comparisons with Regina Spektor, Nellie McKay,Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls) and Attila the Hun.She writes songs of love, lust, loneliness and social diseases.
Contraband is a fluid collective which originated as a duo with Aideen O'Hagan's magical fiddle melodies and now incorporates percussion, guitars, harmonies and the occasional really cool haircut from friends and family..

Hi, through JUNE AND JULY we are slashing our day time rehearsal prices. Between 10am and 5pm all our rooms are either £6 or £7 per hour including weekends. Making us one of the cheapest in SUSSEX. Plus If you buy 3 hours we will even throw in a 4th totally FREE. YES TOTALLY FREE.
OUR RECORDING RATES ARE STILL JUST AS AFFORDABLE TOO, FULL DAYS FROM £200 ALL IN.

Those of you who took part last year will remember how awesome it was, what with the packed crowds, swet on the walls and blood on the floor!!
Now this year we have opend it up to every band we have worked with, (THAT ARE STILL UNSIGNED)
So we start in september, its gonna be three bands a night and the band with the most votes at the end will go through to the semis.
some rules:
1. You must be UNSIGNED. 2. When you book your date you thereby agree to honour that date and to houner any proceeding semi final. 3. Only the 4 FINALISTS will be awarded prizes 4. ALL members of EVERY band will recive 3 FREE drinks each (pints/bottles/singles with a mixer) 5. The managment and or organizer has the right to refuse and or remove any acts from the competition
