I'm a musician, addicted to keyboards & harmony. I've been a keyboard player/singer in local cover bands for 20+ years, starting with Rumor Hazit, then Shooter, followed by many great years with Tymz Up, and then Off The Record and, briefly, Julie's Diva Salute. Then I was with The Band Intense for two years(www.myspace.com/thebandintense2007) and sometimes sat-in with Champagne Jello. Following that I was working with BeatlesJuice and DRIVEN for two years. I am currently focusing on my original material, playing solo gigs around town and looking for the right musicians to perform a mix of originals and covers.
I'm also a poet and a photographer (I took all the photos on Ray McNiece's personal myspace as well as his band's page, Tongue-in-Groove, and some of Intense's page pics also). I'm interested in natural foods, good wine, independent films, and scuba diving. I like to spend downtime with family and friends, near (or in) the water when the weather's nice, beside a fire when it's cold outside, either listening to or making music.

About me: My goal is to get through this life without hurting anybody, or doing as little harm as possible, anyway. I like pretty words, pretty chords, pretty men, all babies, most flowers. I believe in peace and harmony, honesty, kindness, and friendship. And reciprocity! I like to see different places, scuba through the underwater world, and stand in the presence of great works of art. I love music, the beauty of nature, and countless books, paintings, and well-written songs. Most of all, I love my daughters.
I think the most important gift you can give someone is your time.

Hey guys!!! Glad to be in touch; thanks for being a friend!
Virgogray Press is an indie publisher, proudly making chapbooks and presenting the world with fresh poetry from genuine voices. We're just wanting to add to the many great works out there and are happy to be part of the literary movement! We are currently accepting manuscript submisssion for chapbook publication, but not for long. On Dec. 1, 2009, we will no longer be taking submissions for chapbook length manuscripts becuase we already have plenty of great poets to come in 2010, but we are still accepting general poetry submissions for other publications, so if you are a poet who wants to have your work published, or maybe wants others to read your work in the form of a publication, check out our website for details and maybe you can hop along with the Virgogray Press familiy, too!
Thanks again, and have a great week!!!
We just put up our entire catalogue-- go ahead and take a look!!
Hi Anita, I'm sorry I didn't get over to the Spider last night. I was over at Spectators. I am hosting the open mic over there next week. I would love to play with you some time! Happy Halloween! Hope to see you soon.
