recently: Ballast and i really like that Dylan film, Im not there , Wild Combination -a portrait of arthur russell. In general:The Idiots, Apocalypse Now, Breaking the waves, Persona, Cache. Climates, the breakfast club. Fargo for laughs, Nobody Knows.the mood and colours of malicks films. Theres a whole bunch of music documentaries that I love, but perhaps my favorite musical moment captured on film is when 12 year old Little Stevie Wonder plays Fingertips pt 2 in 1963 and his body sort of breaks in happiness as the audience (in chicago i think) roar in approval.i like watching footage of jimi hendrix. particularly when he talks or smiles as if he has a secret.
