i know it's sad and very un-intellectual but i'm a big fan of chick-lit especially Marian Keyes. i like Nick Hornby as well, don't like reading things that are too serious!!
some books i like are 'The Da Vinci Code', 'The Catcher in the Rye', 'The Quiet American' (that one is pretty serious...) 'About A Boy', '1984' (again it's serious. i'm so contradictory...) and lots more that i can't remember. actually i've read some philosophy books that i've liked, i find the ones on ethics especially interesting.
people who do a lot for human rights; Mother Theresa and other people who i can't name. from the entertainment industry i'd have to say Tim Burton! i know that's a cliche but he connects with so many people on an imaginative level... if that makes sense.
About me: In general i like shiny things and my bed. that's all the important stuff really.........

Hey! I haven't talked to ya in a while! How've ya been? I'm doing alright...a little touch of manic here and there, but sane more often than not. I'm trying to get stuff together to decorate my bedroom into a bedroom/livingroom/dining area, haha. So far I have the dining area, and all I need now are a sofa and a tv plus the stand for storage. :D

I was originally planning a "real" wedding, but my parents can never seem to get money together to pay for one. I really don't want to put it off because of money, that just seems silly to me. It does seem to suck the romance out of it too, at least for me, and I think I would feel INCREDIBLY guilty for spending a couple thousand dollars on one event. I'd rather pay off some bills or get some furniture, lol. Oh well, I'm fine with whatever we do just so long as we're legally hitched. :o) So you guys haven't really talked about marriage or anything?

So yeah, the wedding! We are aiming for March 30, 2010...which is a Tuesday, haha. We've been trying to have a fall wedding since we've been engaged, but it never seems to work out. I think we're just gonna go to the courthouse and then out to dinner. Which I don't mind anyways because I'm not religious, so it works out. March 30 is the day we officially started going out, so I thought it would be easy to remember our anniversary, lol.
