DJing is more than a hobby for me. Music is my life. I sleep, eat, and breathe electronic music. Human nature is to love rhythm. I play everything from electro to breaks to tech house to progressive house to just plain, old house. Most of my sets are comprised of all those genres. I started out as a dancer (NOT a go-go dancer), and much of my motivation is derived from people out on the floor having a great time dancing. I try to pick out good, danceable music that has my trademark requirement of dirty, driving basslines, just for you.
In my spare time, I mostly listen to techno/tech house, progressive house, & progressive breaks. I love to chill and really listen to my music. Every song I play I know as well as the back of my hand. I'm very selective of my music.
I've been DJing since June of 2008 and have loved almost every minute of it. I've had so much help and support from those that I respected first as a raver in the scene and then as a DJ. I could never have made it this far this quickly without everyone's help.
A friend of mine once expressed surprise at my actually succeeding to become as good a DJ as I'd hoped. As soon as I saw somebody mixing records at a show, I said, "I'm going to do that some day." And I did. I wanted it bad enough. Opportunities are all around and one is bound to fall into your lap eventually.
I'm always open to constructive criticism and advice. Furthermore, if you have a question, just ask me. I promise I won't bite. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, and that's where I'm gonna stay.
