Ankstmusik is a record label and film production company based in north Wales. Formed when the original Ankst Records split in two in 1998 Ankstmusik have produced over 30 releases , founded a on-going radical dvd-zine called CRYMI and made three full length cinema films, the BAFTA award winning bilingual drama "Y Lleill" (2005) and "Nobody Knows if it Ever Happened" (2006) - a document of krautrock giants FAUST's legendary 1996 performance at London's Garage venue, and the pre-devolution welsh music memoir ffilm "Saunders Lewis vs Andy Warhol:A Ffilm Found On The Stockroom Floor" (2008).

Wythnos Diwethaf - fe welais i ffilm newydd Emyr Ankst "Saunders Lewis vs Andy Warhol". Yr oedd yn cynnwys sawl fideo pop/roc Cymraeg, oeddwn i ddim wedi gweld erioed neu rhai oeddwn i ddim wedi gweld ers achau. Gwych.
Last week - I saw Emyr Ankst's new film "Saunders Lewis vs Andy Warhol". It contained a Welsh pop/roc videos I hadn't seen ever or others I hadn't seen for years. Brilliant.
