Ankur Productions was launched four years ago by Artistic Director Lalitha Rajan. The Glasgow based company encourages individuals from Scotland's diverse communities to get involved and participate in the arts

Since its inception, this young company has launched a series of drama workshops in Glasgow and Edinburgh aimed at Adults, Teeneagers and Kids. As well as this it has received wide appreciation it's stage productions: 'The Trial' at the Tramway,'Fewer Emergencies' at the Citizens Theatre and 'Detainee A' at the Arches. Not to mention the highly successful 'Scotland United' gig also at the Arches. Ankur looks forward to building on this success over the coming years

Ankur Productions teams up with Spanish eatery Arta to offer an irresistible platter of bite-sized theatre pieces accompanied by Arta’s delicious tapas selection.

Devised by Ankur’s community theatre workshop, directed by Cora Bissett and performed in the spectacular surrounds of Arta’s courtyard; Feast is a collection of tasty theatrical bites exploring the significance and rituals of food in our lives.
