Annas first solo album "One" - praised by the critics
Though this is Annas first solo album she is not a newcomer on the jazz scene. Last year Anna was nominated in the category "Best Jazz" for the Grammis prize wich is the Swedish version of the Grammy awards. Anna was nominated after her collaboration with Steve Dobrogosz on the album "It..s Always You" released in early 2006.
"One"
With "One" Anna Christoffersson marks the beginning of her solo carrier. "One" follows the succes of "It..s Always You" the collaborative album of Steve Dobrogosz and Anna Christoffersson.
Though Anna Christoffersson is still very present within in the realms of jazz, "One" presents a new side of the artist as she fills the album with influences of soul, pop and RnB. On this very personal album, Anna has written most of the songs herself. A guest on the album is Steve Dobrogosz and the producer is Pablo Donaldo who adds to the album his own unique sound.
