Anna Faroe

The performance by Anna Faroe in X-factor did not only take the Danes by storm, but also highly recognised UK producer, Pete Smith, who has produced for Sting, Joe Cocker, Randy Crawford & Gary More etc.

The young charming Anna with the big red hair took both judges and viewers by storm with her natural charm and not least her amazing voice.

With a position as one of the favourites to win the Danish X-factor, her exit came as a big chock to both judges and viewers. Her destiny in the show created a furore in Denmark amongst both viewers and the media, the Danish newspaper BT even accused DR of cheating with the text votes.



During the Danish X-factor period, the international recognised producer Pete Smith (producer for Sting, Joe Cocker, Randy Crawford, Gary Moore etc.) was staying in Denmark, working on a songwriter process with the Danish producer Boe Larsen.
When Pete and Boe saw Anna’s performance in X-factor – there was no doubt… With a voice beyond regular talent and an ability to interpret the songs with an amazing depth and personality – Anna was the missing link!
The enthusiasm went both ways – form the first meeting with the producers, Anna was very excited. The chemistry between them was great, and they shared the same vision for the creative and artistic development of the project. It was the project she had always wanted to do!
The first single ”Walking on fire”, got the reports on the morning show ”Go’ morgen” to burst out: ”What a debut – it was outstanding!”
The debut album ”Because I want to” is out everywhere on May 31. The listeners can expect a universe of delicious soul, jazz, latin, and pop – and not least divaness in the most positive meaning of the word. The album has a unique sound and exudes of quality and extraordinary talent.
