Came up in the country in northern Indiana. Heavily influenced by Detroit's Motown and Chicago's blues. Studied vocal jazz in Steve Zegree program (Wester Michigan Univ). Discovered in Chicago by Pete Cosey (guitarist for Miles Davis and Aretha Franklin). Moved to Los Angeles to study songwriting with Grammy nominated writer Harriet Schock. Made a rhythm and blues record with doo-wop legend Buzz Clifford and wonderkind producer Evan Frankfort (Would Work Studios) called "Lyin' In the Face of Love" that won an LA Music Award and got the attention of Grammy Winner, Shelby Lynne. Toured with her as opening act and bandmate. Made a second record called "Triple Seven" as a tribute to my beautiful father, of psychedelic rock cult classic, The Colours. Television credits include David Letterman Show, Leno, Ellen Show. Film credits include, trailor for Jennifer Lopez film, 'Enough', end title credit for future Richard Gere film, 'The Flock', end title voice for up-coming feature, 'Forgetting the Fraklins'. Shared stage with Shelby Lynne, Los Lonely Boys, Lisa Marie Presley, David Marks of Beach Boys, hired for June Pointer band shortly before her untimely death.
