Recorder player Anna Petrini is active as a soloist and chamber musician in both early and contemporary music. Educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Amsterdam Conservatory, she has toured in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Anna has performed at venues such as the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, Casa da Musica in Portugal and at the ISCM World New Music Days 2009. In 2004 she received the concert prize in the Van Wassenaer Competition for Early Music, Holland, with ensemble La Soave Melodia. In 2007 she won the first prize in Swedish competition "”Ung och Lovande"” with baroque ensemble Trio Stravaganti. Anna has been broadcast and recorded by swedish, dutch, italian and australian radio. She frequently collaborates with composers and has premiered many pieces. During 2010 she will work with swedish composer Malin Bång and polish/australian composer Dominik Karski.
