Anna has always been interested in all nationality of folk dances since her childhood. Anna studied and graduated with an Excellency Diploma of International Folk Dance from the University of Choreography for Russian Ballet in Armenia. She arrived in New York in her teens and danced professionally and choreographed her own dance pieces since. She has also trained in New York with well-known artists as Andrea del Conte for flamenco at the Broadway Dance Center ,and took classes at Fazel's School for Belly Dance.
Specifically, she is trained in classical ballet, jazz ballet, flamenco, belly dance, took some classes of Indian ancient folk dance and more recently she has been exploring hip-hop and many other types of dances to create her own unique mixture of synthesizing of old and new.

She was also featured in concert with European singer Ingrid. Latest appearances include MTV's my Sweet 16 program showing her belly dance performance. Recently Anna was featured as a main belly dancer in DON OMARS "Salio el sol" music video to watch it click here,as well as performed her "Live python show" at GUNS AND ROSES band after concert party. Anna had her own sold out concert twice at the legendary Joe's Pub at the Public Theatre. She also had appeared in movie " Autumn in New York" as a gypsy dancer, directed by Joan Chen starring Richard Gere and Rider. Anna had television appearances on MTV, ESPN, Persian TV, and appeared in various commercial on Russian television RTV.She was involved in modeling as well as in commercials. With her solo act of variety of dances, Anna has traveled all over United States.

About the clothes,they hang on every market stall,they are beautiful,but I guess they would fall apart pretty quick.But they have every hue of purple and gold ,pink red,and they look amazing. All for a few dollars. You would probably get it for free. I bought some lovely stuff fake designer menswear, and had to leave it as it was falling apart after one nights wear. Hey I'm not a breakdancer,I just wore this stuff and it fell to peices on me. They have endless miles of cotton fields so can make stuff for virtually nothing. Its such a beautiful country actually. I didn't really want to go as I have a problem with macho kind of men. But they were sooooo macho and funny,not too aggressive,and so cheeky about kissing my girls,I had to revel in their masculinity and not be aggressive,they would have thrown me in the sea anyway,but no they had a kind of macho that even me from my post ww2 youth could agree with.
Hi Anna, I was doing sme chatting on Facebook last night,the only page I had open on the computer,when suddenly your dads first song started playing. I didn't have your page open and have'nt seen it for a while. It was a very pleasant reminder to drop in and say hi. I just got back from Turkey. You spoiled me with your dance.
