About me: I was born on August 5th 1981, in Adelaide, South Australia. I grew up with my father, Jim, and brother, Willy. I was always involved in sports and at age 13 I began to play golf.
For me, sports and school were my main priorities. Then at the age 16, I was a finalist in the Australian "Dolly" Magazine cover contest. This began a modeling career on the catwalk, in print ads, and on television.
In 1999, I was selected to be on the Australian National Senior Squad. I was the leading qualifier of the Australian Amateur and won both the South Australian and Victorian Junior championships. In July, I won the Jack Newton International Junior Classic and was selected to be a member of the South Australian Senior State team. Then I competed in the Australian Open, where the University of Southern California recruited me for a golf scholarship.
The highlight of my collegiate career was helping the team win the first golf national championship in USC history. In October 2003, I was invited to the White House where I met President George W. Bush, and found out first hand that his golf game was "very average".
I graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Fine Arts. For the first time, I dedicated myself to golf full time and started working with a professional golf coach. After a few months of working with a full time swing coach and golf guru, Butch Harmon, I brought my game to another level.
I finished top ten in my first professional event, 5th in the Orient Masters in China, and qualified for the Futures Tour in 2005. During my first season on the Futures Tour I adjusted to tour life while continuing to sharpen my skills. In November of 2005, I traveled to Spain to the Ladies European Tour School where I qualified in third place, and earned my 2006 tour card.
As a 2006 member of the Ladies European Tour, I expect to improve the quality of my game while raising the profile of women's golf. I hope to be a successful tour player and personality while combining golf with my many other interests.
