Andres Segovia, Abreu Brothers, Bach, Mozart, Pepe Romero, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Frank Zappa and so many more, from every style of music you can imagine, old and new.
I'm Anna, and I'm married to, manage, and blog about the guitarist Robin Hill, so whilst I run the page, it's all Robin's music!
Robin has been performing as a solo artist, and as the Hill/Wiltschinsky Guitar Duo, for more than 30 years.
He has toured extensively worldwide and performed with many artists, Luciano Pavarotti, Russell Watson, Atarah Ben Tovim, Denise Greaves, Lesley Garrett, and collaborated with many fine orchestras, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Irish National Symphony Orchestra and the Caracus Symphony Orchestra to name just a few.
Robin performed Rodrigo's 'Concierto de Aranjuez', to an audience of 3500, with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the same orchestra premiered his own composition 'Concerto Primavera'.
Alongside an active classical career, Robin has always remained interested in his electric guitar, some of which you can hear today, 'Celebration', which was written by Robin, and recorded with his band Force 10.
He has a distinguished past on the electric guitar, performing with Deep Puple, Jethro Tull and American jazz/soul singer Madeline Bell.
It's rare that an artist can be so accomplished in both forms of guitar playing, and, it's no coincidence that Robin has been called, "the Jimi Hendrix of classical guitar."
Yes, I believe it's not easy to find a better guitar than the Rodriguez! A friend of mine tried one few years ago in a guitar shop in the US and he told me that it was the easiest guitar to play he has ever tried and the best in term of dynamics! He said that the Rodriguez made him feel very secure too. I would really love to try one! Best wishes, Emmanuel

Hi, and thanks for the friendship! The Danish composer Per Nørgård's music has been much on my mind the past few years. Arguably the most important now living Scandinavian composer also has a remarkable output for the guitar. I spent a couple of years working with the composer on this repertoire, spanning from 1973 to 2000, in order to embrace the emerging performance practice associated with his work.
I have just uploaded 10 new tracks, all taken from "Tales From the North", my double CD box with the complete guitar works of Danish composer Per Nørgård. Also, in my latest blog you will find recent reviews of this release.
For further reading about the composer, this is an excellent website, with articles by a series of scholars and performers that have dedicated much study to his work:
