About me:
A writer and professional appreciator of beautiful things; especially theatre, TV, comedy and music.
If you fancy reading some of my scribblings, go to www.tvscoop.tv, www.musicomh.com, or buy The Guardian everyday and hope I happen to be in it that day...
Here's my Twitter feed, which I'm keeping up to date while I don't have as much time for full blog posts...
I'd love to meet musicians and comedians, and, if possible, those wonderful people who combine the two talents. Like-minded people are always a joy to meet too.

January Fuzzy Federal Fun! Sat 31st Jan. City Screen Basment, York. The Federals, The 99s + Reefus Moons What more can be said about The Federals? Other than they play crushing garage fuzz blues, sound like angry version of The Sonics, are loved by Steve Lamacq, The Times and they our favorite band, possibly ever.
The 99's are from across the Pennines, but you'll not mind once they start ripping into their Beatlesy / Byrdsy pop... and they sound a bit like The La's - which aint no bad thing.
Refus Moons is Yorks closest answer to Syd Barrett, except without the debilitating brain melting acid induced mental health problems... well, maybe...
Team Fuzz will, as always be your hosts for the evening! covering the basement in all manner of lights, projections, lollies, decor and serving up classic and not so classic, Blues, Soul, freakbeat, psych, northern soul, boogaloo, funk, odd bits of hiphip and whateverthehellelsetheyfancy.
Doors are at 8pm until 1am and tickets are only £4 otd or just £3 in adv or with a flyer. Be there or be a square from Delaware.
