• Ann Blair is receiving radio air play on Radio Siljan in Sweden..they discovered her on CD Baby and found her to be a fit for their country show.
• Ann released her all original full length album in December of 2006, titled "Wanted You to Know". She is in digital distribution with 35 companies to date, and CD sales are through CD Baby. She is featured on Americana Rhythm Radio, earning a review in Americana Rhythm Magazine (print and online), Country Stars Online, New Artist Radio, in addition to Whole Wheat Radio, LexRock, WSVN Radio, Rockabilly Radio, EORadio, Clear Channel .com, Country Girls Only, Radio Wayne, Florida's Big Wheel to name a few.
• Ann has earned a 2006 WAMMIE nomination for Female Country Vocalist of the Year, (awards to be given Feb, 18th 2007)
• Ann performed on the Mamapalooza 2005 Tour, Viva Vienna, 2005. Ann performed the National Anthem at RFK stadium on July 19th, 2005.
• Ann released a 3 song preview album "No Regrets" on June 19, 2004, from this date through September, 2004 she sold more than 500 CD's.
• Ann earned a 2004 WAMMIE nomination for her 3 song preview CD "No Regrets".
• Ann's song Bottles –n- Bruises, was released on a WSVN compilation CD, March 2005 and was distributed to over 1,000,000.00 people nationally and internationally. "Time to Go" was featured on a Clear Channel CD; all proceeds were donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
• Ann was awarded a spot in the USA (Unsigned Artist) talent search in Las Vegas, NV as a soloist in 2003.
• Ann's writing ability as well as her vocalizing earned her an invitation to perform at the "Trowbridge Symposium" in Nashville, Tennessee in August of 2003. Ann was showcased in two separate categories, one for her original material and another for her ability to cover other material.
• In 1991, Ann competed among a field of 5,000 entrants in the WMZQ Radio's "Country Star on the Horizon" contest held in Washington, D.C. She earned a nomination as one of 36 finalists and was recognized as one of 6 selected female solo competitors.
• Ann is a member of the Songwriter's Association and the Washington Area Music Association. She is also an ASCAP member with membership as a writer as well as a publisher.
