Caretake the moment. Immerse yourself in its particulars. Respond to this person, this challenge, this deed. Quit the evasions. Stop giving yourself needless trouble. It is time to really live, to fully inhabit the situation you happen to be in now.
Anne's collective works have such truth. It isn't everyone who can turn event, emotion, or a dull transaction into something special. Anne has a unique ability to transcend the mundane which is the substance of most lives. Her work should be a guidepost for every poet before they tackle a sonnet or write song lyrics over a broken dishwasher, or of a heart being of the same aesthetic weight. (a most kind critique of moi'!)

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.”
