Dj Poingi once known in israel as a fearless experimental techno dj Left the holy land in 2003 to europe's new mecca Berlin.
He started playing in the legendery Tresor club only to find out that he was utterly bored with techno.
Around the same time he fell in love with the radical playground that was offered him with "Breakcore".
Soon he started playing in various squat parties,festivals and the fuck parade.
Later saw the founding of the now well known Berlin breakcore parties "Clash Of The Titans" together with the other (Clash Of The Titans) crew members - the Berlin dj's H-Kon, Rokkon & Hetzer.
By now Poingi managed to play in many well known Breakcore events around europe like Peace Off's Kamikaze Warfare in France,
the Belgium "Breakcore Gives Me Wood" ,Wreck Havoc in Rotterdam, Artcore Rave in Poland and Berlin's Wasted Festival & Club Transmediale and even berlin's famous BERGHAIN...!!!
His Dj sets are known to be versatile and can range from Oldskool early UK Rave over experimental IDM , Breakcore, Gabba, Noize and these days quite some Hardcore Drum&Bass.
DM12003: Poxxe - Iono EP OUT NOW! Darkmatter Soundsystem frequents their third visit to vinyl (DM12003) this time around with the Southern California native Poxxe. The 12" kicks off with a screaming dubstep floorkiller titled "The Malfunction" sure to incite soundsystems and crowds. Next up is the rattling tear out breakcore track titled "Funky Lizard" with Minion on the collab. On the flip side, the two tracks "Yellular" & "Plastic Hip" explore the more sparse rhythms and tones of Poxxe's sound. Side A "Kompressorwahn" kicks off with stepping tension-oriented rave-esque melodies quickly culminating in the most extreme pounding beats that throttle your nerves and whip the dancefloor into a frenzy with no end in sight. Amboss keeps up the pressure with the side B track titled "Avenida Paulista" in which hard industrial effects, intense frequencies and relentless beats are pushed to the limit.
