When she was just 19 years old, Annekei moved from her home country, Denmark, to pursue her musical ambitions in New York City. Since the arrival in 2002, the young soul singer has been performing venues as varied as Joe’s Pub, Pianos, the Metropolitan Café, Rockwood Music Hall, The Living Room, Bowery Poetry Club, Suite 16, The Cutting Room, Bitter End, Hotel Waldorf Astoria, Blue Note, as well as 55 Wall Street, where she recently warmed up for Aretha Franklin and George Michael at the Cipriani's UNICEF/ SFF benefit concert series.

I knew Michael Jackson and worked with Jermaine Jackson when I came to Los Angeles after leaving K.C. and the Sunshine Band. Michael Jackson was a gift from God that we were gratefully allowed to share our lives and hearts with through his wonderful music which will always live on...A shy man seeking peace in the midst of all of the storms that swirled around him in his life...It is my prayer that he is truely peaceful now. I intend to make great music in his honor and I hope all of our comtemporaries will do the same... In Jesus love, Oliver C. Brown
Michael Jackson died and that night I had a dream, I dreamed that I was
on top of a bike with ET in the basket, woke sad because it was just a
fucking dream. For breakfast I had a revelation: it is easy to
criticize, but it is not easy to take a picture with the ET
I called the computer, it crashed, reboot and have fun with the coolest artist that ET has the hands.
love, affection, samba!
