"Music is a language that transcends prejudices and taboos, it nourishes our soul, it appeals to our imagination, our spirituality and creativity without interference from other senses. It is in constant motion as we all are and to be stationary is not an option. The role of the artist has always been to express what is "naturally meaningful" even if this is uncomfortable and unpopular. Our self imposed society disconnects us from what is natural and real. We are lulled into a sense of complacency, we prefer to believe that all is somehow "fine". To challenge this implanted idea honestly is the most exciting task of this generation and the next. The wrong kind of hope encourages apathy and too much gloom invites denial, helplessness or detachment. The balance of our planet is fragile. We have a place, a role, responsibilities, but often misguided we treat our planet as if we own it not realising we are but a part of it... All on this Earth is in the sharing and respect of all life forms. Voices once so vibrant come to rest, yet not to pass... Shadows of another fight, another wrong, another right….. So now we question what we see….. Yet answer fast and furiously... For all the pain and empty dreams….. For all the vain ideas and schemes….. The human touch, the lonely tear….. What do we know? What do we fear?.. The bloodshed? Not very near!.. The homes wrecked… the lives destroyed….. Not mine, not yours! And so, devoid.. Of true conscience we strive to feel.. What isn't real…to us….. Touch my wounded broken life….. No! It's just a photograph, a gun, a knife….. Another soldier, another child,.. Another bomb, another crash….... And so… the weather turns to mild….. The traffic stalls on the M5….... Que nous sacrifions au présent..... A fleur d'ame je me condamne.. A garder un regard ouvert.. Sur tout ce qui me desespére.... J'ai des ombres glacés dans la mémoire….. J’ai des ombres glacées dans la mémoire
La terreur des matins sans espoir
A en perdre le parfum de soi-même…
La conscience des choses qui nous attendent
Des images fanées, des plaines désertiques
Des monts et des vallées aux formes hérétiques
J’ai des ombres glacées dans la mémoire
Le son des larmes oubliées
Le cri du vent essouflé
Je vois des terres sans frontières, sans rivages
Et sans de droit de passage…
J’ai le Coeur qui s’épuise á douter
Dans un monde qui saigne
A fleur de peau j’ai le passé
Qui tremble et me dédaigne
A fleur de Coeur j’ai la tristesse
