LOL - I know that all of my friends are going to laugh, but I love Billy Joel. I have very fond memories of sitting in the back seat of my parents car listening to The Beattles, Reba and Billy Joel on endless roadtrips. Other greats introduced to me on those trips: Neil Diamond, Simon and Garfunkle, The Eagles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, and show tunes. Of course, I also discovered some of my favorites on my own: Switchfoot, Seventh Day Slumber, Plumb, Blue October, Anberlin, etc. Vastly different sounds, but all amazing.
Movies
Young Frankenstein, Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (4,5 and 6), Indian Jones (all three), Sliding Doors, Life as a House, and I could go on...I'm a movie buff.
Television
Actually, I don't really watch all that much television. Of course, part of that is because I don't have a television that works properly. My husband got me hooked on 24, but that's about it. You get a little jaded after working in the industry. Although, we recently discovered an online show called Quarterlife - you so need to check it out.
Books
Let's just go by authors, because it's difficult to pick a few favorite books. I like C.S. Lewis, Terry Prachet, Martha Grimes, Anne Perry, J.R.R. Tolkien, Chris Moore and many more.
Heroes
I know this will sound corny, but you'll get over it. My husband is my hero. Shayne has shown me what it means to be truly Christ-like and I am grateful for that. He wouldn't agree with me, but he is. Does he make mistakes...of course, but he always admits it and moves on. He's awesome!

I love sunsets, sitting in the rain, and the color yellow. I like milk and sugar in my tea and would probably drink it more often if my husband didn't love coffee. I am extremetly left-handed - so much so, that when I play softball I have to throw and catch with my left hand. I like being outside and if I had a yard I would be out gardening all the time. Instead, our patio gets covered in plants. I like to blend antiques with modern furniture and accessories. I love to read and I hate having to get rid of old books. Many of them are like old friends that you can go back to and rediscover why you love them so much. I am an optimist at heart and would prefer to see the good in a situation. Friends and friendship are important. I believe that everyone needs someone. I love my husband - he's a gentlemen, but also knows how to have fun.
As for work, I studied broadcast radio/television in college, interned for a network, technical directed and directed live news for a television station and discovered that the bureaucracy isn't just in the White House. I despise the politics in business, so I decided to start my own. I love working for myself - freelance, baby, is the way to go. I am enamored with docementary work. I love telling stories that actually happened or are happening.
Epicstar Pictures, my husband's company, does mainly narrative work. And since I would rather tell someone else's story than have to come up with one on my own, I produce and edit for the company and Shayne gets to do the writing and directing. Call me lazy, but I think it's smart business.

Currently, Middle Tennessee is home. I love fall and spring, ancient rock walls that remind me of Scotland, and the smell of fresh air. I love that TN has so many rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. Even though we are land-locked, we still get to enjoy the water (even if the waves are baby waves). I love the people here - they are the most friendly people you will ever meet.

Hey How have you been? It has been so long! I have really missed your company! I felt like we had know each other for years after just a day. Atia is growing so fast and we haven't even had a chance to bring her down to meet you guys. She is such a ham. She is so smart it amazes me How this little person goes from being so helpless to independent so fast. Well I hope your doing well and that we can see each other again soon. Hope to hear from you soon. We will have to keep you posted about when we are going to come down there to visit. Maybe we can meet up some where for a few hours.
