    .. Formed in the summer of 2008, Annero initially started as a college project, after completing the FMP and finishing college, rhythm guitarist Winston departed to focus on other pursuits... They continued as a 4 piece for a number of months until eventually recruiting Tom Hatt on rhythm guitar,.. but unfortunatly, before any new recordings or gigs could happen, bassist Adam Verney left to continue work with Excessum,.. Samma Charles stepped into the fray, but yet again, before anything could come of this new line-up, vocalist Phil Walton departed for personal reasons... Finally the band stepped into it's most solid line-up to date, collaborating with former Iionix vocalist Craig Chatfield on vocals... This new sound is more diverse, more melodic, heavier and more intricate than ever before,.. and the determination of the band has seen them play all over the UK and produce a the recently released mini album,.. We will play anywhere, any time, any slot, with up to 48 hours notice, so if you have a band drop out and need a support slot,.. or you want to book us for your venue, just drop us a message either on here or send an Email to anneroband@hotmail.co.uk. .... REVIEWS: From the City Inquirer, Camden Purple Turtle gig 2/2/2010 Annero are on last, and they have the unfortunate disadvantage of not being known in the area. But Annero pulled a load of dead cats out of the bag. They mixed heavy riffs and excellent timing with brutal singing – that’s singing, not screaming. The lyrics are beyond what you’d expect from such an unknown band – in “Downfall” they repeat the line: “This is not a threat/ It’s a god damn promise.” In a style so similar to “Decapitated” they offer tunes that the crowd would loved. If only more of the crowd were here. Thankyou for your kind words guys! let's hope there's a bigger crowd next time :P cheers to anyone who came down :)..... ANNERO DEMO BY Nightshift oct 2010- makes a pretty decent soundtrack to scrubbing blood out of carpets of a cold autumn afternoon..... ANNERO BY Nightshit- nov 2010 Brutal death-thrash cacophony formed by squashing all their favourite bits of Pantera, Meshuggah and Slayer together, then squeezing it extra tight with a brutal, iron fist. Pleasingly uncompromising stuff, fronted by a chap who sounds like he should be wearing a horned helmet and carrying a giant axe as he pillages villages along England’s north-east coast. Grrr.
