| | Television | TV on DVD and hulu.com seems to be the way to go, especially when you don't have cable. I've seen all the Battlestar Galacticas up to the present (give or take 3 or 4 most recent episodes). Arrested Development is pretty damn funny. When Heroes comes back on I'll watch the third season. Dr.Quinn Medicine Woman, Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, American Gothic. That's what I've watched lately. | | Books | I tend to enjoy things that couldn't happen in real life, like adventures in space, bonds between boys and horses, talking teddy bears speaking for autistic children, men from mars, secret gardens, star beasts, romantic and independant women of the 1800s, talking rats and rabbits, etc. Also: dragons, space dolphins, punny books about alien bars, sexual plants, robots, exiled scientists, and the history of unicorns. | | Heroes | Super

About me:
I am owned by three lovely beastie cats who demand affection as much as they demand food. I have the best boyfriend in the whole wide world, for he is mine. I sing in a band known as Dream Bitches and in the occasional freak moment I attempt to play the drums. I am a consumer of goods. Such goods as food, and drink, small flowery things, and things with black cats upon them, more clothing than I need, magical hair products that don't work, cat food, more things with flowers and cats and other patterns upon them, paperback sci-fi, dover art books, victorianate things, neat calendars, things rescued from the trash like my mannequin Beaula, unnecessary objects that make me happy (like a bag shaped like a car, a head vase, an old suitcase, or a hot stuff the little devil stuffed animal), plane tickets to San Francisco, shoes, strange kitchen utensils, alcoholic beverages, cassette tapes. I enjoy continuing to define myself by my belongings!
