ANNEX5 was formed in Hanover/Germany at the beginning of 2003. Front singer Kirsten, who grew up in Canada, sang for VENDETTA, bass player Nico und guitar player Till jammed by OVERNIGHT SENSATION and drummer Björn played for RECHARGE and is also currently playing for AUDIO KOLLAPS.
Musically the three male musicians and the charismatic female singer agreed upon performing a fresh, unique and diverse sound. Powerful melodic female vocals with provoking, not your typical everyday lyrics, padded with furious guitar solos and a hard-driving drum sound. Straight-ahead punk rock meets BLONDIE or PENETRATION!
In 2005 the 11 song CD "Demons" was released on Nasty Vinyl/SPV. Various gigs followed with bands like HANSON BROTHERS, THE BONES and LEATHERFACE as well as a Germany tour in 2006 with VERLORENE JUNGS and WARFARE.
In autumn 2006 the second album called "Sex Rag" was released by Sunny Bastards (CD version) and Halb 7 Records (LP version).
