Annfwn (awe-noon) is a place filled with magickal tales from an ancient time. Annfwn is in fact Avalon. We formed in the dawn of a new age, a new year; early 2007. With a natural affinity for Orchestral and Symphonic Metal, Annfwn pioneers Michael Grimley and Rachael Scialis created, Annfwn.
Not only did we fuse together our love for Orchestra and Metal, but we added another element which has more meaning to our Pagan ancestral routes. This is more evidently masked in our lyrics and our name.
Not only was Annfwn important to us symbolically, but it also makes us remember those who tried to destroy our ways. We not only play what we love, but we hope that we can educate people one by one and hopefully make them see that Pagans are not horrible people. It is we who laid the basis for all of society. We're hoping that we can bring awareness to those who despise us for our differences.
It was they who torture and kill innocents over their beliefs, not us. For we're peaceful. We're not devil-worshipers, we're not some diabolical fiend. We're one with the Earth in which both breeds life and takes life. We are the microcosms of the macrocosm. We are living and breathing just like everything that walks on this Earth.

xD I actually came across it on some other band's page, and when I saw the name I was like, "I've seen this before!"; it's difficult to find an original name, but as long as neither of you have copyrighted it/neither of you have been signed then I don't think it matters.
Cool cool. Thanks for the explanation. You have an interesting outlook on life, and I have to say, I find the quote "Hatred is almost easier than being tranquil and at peace." to be quite true. I just have another question lol, just out of curiosity, you say you do not choose sides(im assuming meaning the side of hatred vs. the side of "abhorrence of hatred"...correct me if im wrong)...so i am venturing that that would also mean you do not believe either side is correct, accoring to nature? or natural laws, so to speak?
