Ann Humphreys got her first guitar as a high-school graduation present from her grandmother, who always thought she had the prettiest voice. A native North Carolinian, she grew up listening to her dad's bluegrass and cosmic cowboy albums, and in the last few years she has been lucky enough to sing and play with both Greg Hawks of the Tremblers and John Howie Jr. of the Two Dollar Pistols, as well as perform solo. She has also recorded and performed with her multi-talented and groovy brother, Greg Humphreys, of the local soul band Hobex.

Thanks for the add, Ann. With Tribe's recent travails, I've been adding as many ppl as i stumble across to my myspace. How was hoop camp? I've seen a few pics and it looks like it was incredible.
