New York-based Annie Lin charms audiences with her wry, literate lyrics and her low, lustrous voice. Most often her songwriting draws comparisons to artists Aimee Mann and Mary Lou Lord. Since 2000, she has released three albums and toured nationwide, appearing with artists including The Reputation, Jen Wood, Bonfire Madigan and Sarah Harmer. Critics from the Houston Press, San Jose Weekly, Splendidezine, Giant Robot Magazine, and Hyphen Magazine praised the album Truck Was Struck (Ariadne Records 2004), which has been featured on NPR. Annie currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, and is working on a new album due for release in 2008.
