you think your sexy and all that which you are.. you have all eyes on you at all times and if you notice one is staring the other way you get jealous.. but your still pretty and have all the boys/girls wrapped around you finger
Uh...yes please. I love all music, I love to listen and to sing and play and to create.
Please allow me to pay tribute to a very special musical artist, one who has very much been a part of my life due to my Mother and Grandmother's influence.
Resto nella pace eterna Luciano.
La mia madre dice che ha fatto parte dello stesso choir etereo della mia nonna. La musica delle sfere sarà più magnifica che mai!
Here is Luciano singing: for you Momma and VoVo:
Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti at Turin, 2006.
This is one of his most moving renditions, I am in tears each time I listen.
Please play this beautiful video and let his lovely voice move your soul.
Movies
Frida, Moulin Rouge,Down with Love, White Banners (b&w), A Walk through the Clouds, The Departed, The Man in the Iron Mask, Banditas, Alfred Hitchcock's - Rear Window, Citizen Kane, Scarface, Starwars (the one where jabba's got laya and hans solo prisoner), Princess Bride, Dr. Caligari, Nosfuratu (don't say that out loud by the way, it's supposed to carry a curse), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Titanic, Spaceballs (I know, shhhh, don't tell anyone), Little Shop of Horrors, Back to the Future (again...shhhh...), Slugs, Piranas, Bloodhook (filmed in my home town of Hayward, WI, thank you very much) - basically any low budget horror films from the late seventies and eighties...can't handle the "real thing" I guess...I could go on and on, really. I'll stop here.
Television
No thanks - don't watch alot, maybe your line up of learning channels, including travel, food and HGTV...DVD boxsets are cool though. Sex in the City, Scrubs, Family Guy, uhm...I'd like to see one of Mork and Mindy just because...But I will never tell you I can't do something or talk on the phone or whatever on a certain date and time because: "my freaking show is on"...Nope. That you can count on.
Books
I haven't been able to do casual reading in so long I can't remember. There were a few for my narrative lit class, one being...Leslie Silko's Ceremony - lovely work of native american noveliture...Otherwise I have to say: Al Gore's Earth in the Balance (I know, I am pathetic) and Daniel Quinn's Ishmael...I'll get back to you when I finally have free time to read for relaxation again.
Heroes
The good lord, Superman, Wonderwoman, basically anyone who was on my Under-Roo's, Yoda, Princess Laya and Amber Wittwer (O'hare) - wife and mother extraordenaire (did I spell that right..wow...anyway). Oh and I almost forgot: ME - Just because - it's on a need to know basis, and my daughter for growing up into such a lovely young lady - keep it up Devin Marie!

About me: Firstly:
About being real...
The Velveteen Rabbit:
"What is Real?" asked the Rabbit one day... "It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
"Art is a lie that helps us see the truth" - Picasso
And now in my words...ahahaha...Fabulous...Actually, I can't be sure there is a "me"....
I suppose if there was, people would say she was an artist or a musician and she would say...hmmm...i've been thinking of changing my focus to investment banking and theoretical physics. Uhmmmm....yah...I can't fill out another one of these boxes...oh, I'm undeniably in love with Walt Whitman and Pablo Neruda, I am full of useless art facts that people pretend to be interested in so they can seem cultured (I'm giggling now), I'm random, though I find much humor in it, I take no pride...I find things funny or ironic on so many levels I can't begin to explain and so it looks like I am laughing at nothing, but OH! OH, if you only knew!!! Yes, no more filling out the box. Here, read these or something.
"Please Know"
Please know,
if your heart should break
and love cannot find you so easily
in that dark place
I promise to use what light I have
should love's hands seek
to lift you up again...
"O' Demon Doubt"
Should I adore thee?
Such a question should bestow
an icy injury
wrought through the soul
by frozen winds?
As in wars of grand alliance,
these frozen words hath no season.
Shattered sharp and cutting,
they roll wildly
on this wicked wind!
These thoughts congealed,
tear through center,
thus parting hollow cold.
The heart is frozen cruel
and broken hard.
O' Demon Doubt!
One is preserved
only as an empty desecrate,
a rigid shield, unyielding,
ready only to defend!
O' Demon Doubt!
How I adore thee!
Thou art my armament,
my friend.
Na dont worry about it. There was a Tyra modeling show coming up for people 5'2 and shorter or something like that and i was excited i think the deadline is up now tho but its alright. I don't think im ready for that kind of thing right now anyway
Hey Annie, I completely miss you! How have you been? When last we spoke we talked of times past, times present, and times yet to be had... the future. Or maybe not. I hate to do this but it's a contest so here's my pitch... I usually don't do this kind of thing but... I entered a contest on MySpace through Toyota Music where the first prize is a signing with MySpace Records! I'm currently #150 out of over 10000 entries (#1 in Mpls. and Baltimore, #2 in Chicago, Boston, and Seattle). I really need the help. If you, or anyone else would like to post my widget on their page just hit the "grab this" button in the corner and paste the code to their page. I, Deeply, would appreciate it.- D.D.
this is a shitty ridiculous version but it's all the best i can find at the moment and the melody is correct . . . the Philip Pickett rendition is where it's really at
Hey Annie. I've been great. Working, some drinking and more working and paying a bill here and there. I'm kind a lame like that. How have you been? It's been awhile since I last seen you. Over a year, I think.
