I live in Rochester, New York…the hub of drag and bullshit drama. I live in a mutherfukkin’ pink house with an aging alcoholic queen that thinks she’s goddamn Joan Crawford and a crazed Madonna fan. MommyfuckingDearest has shown me value of a relationship that comes in a liquor bottle…..VODKA ANYONE!!!
I work at a lovely little bar in the city, called Muther’s. Where I am a Drag Queen on the D-List, working my fucking ass off just to scrape my way to the middle. All I want to do is perform…if it happens to be a little dark…well…I’m not a normal girl. I don’t hate the darkness but I embrace the darkness at the same time. Save your fluff for someone that needs to listen to the Top 40 from 1951 on a daily basis. The life we have now isn’t what it used to be a few years ago. I like to perform numbers that at times are considered darker…Evanesence, etc, because it helps me and my audience get out the aggressions, stress and frustrations of our daily lives. At the same time I like to perform a number like “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” because we can let our hair down, dance, and scream without anyone caring. Either way, our concerns, frustrations, and worries are averted. Basically I am who I am without fluff….if you don’t like it…..fuck off!
