| General | Too many to count. I love music (all kinds...I go from high brow classical to heavy metal!). Great literature (I'm tackling G.K. Chesterton now - you aren't well read or educated until you've read Chesterton!), Sherlock Holmes, all Mystery, Science Fiction and Fantasy. | | Music | As I said, I'll listen to just about anything. I have my limitations--if there's too much foul language and it just serves no purpose but to demoralize and degrade rather than uplift, I get turned off. But I love music. That's why I like to make it myself. My primary listening tastes are: classical, grunge, alternative rock, and some heavy metal. I'm also strangely attracted to Johnny Cash...

Agnus Dei by William McCoy | | Movies | As a mom with few babysitters, I rarely get out to see movies. But I love anything by Pixar, sci fi, super hero movies, Trek...if it has action and romance I'd be there (if I could find a babysitter).
My favorite movies: Star Wars (the original trilogy). I like A New Hope the best. Indiana Jones films. Star Trek II: Wrath of Kahn (the only Star Trek movie in my opinion). Musicals - my favorites being Sound of Music | | Television | I loved the old Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series by Granada, especially the first two seasons. Right now, though, my faves are: Battlestar Galactica, Heroes and 24. | | Books | Chesterton, Chesterton, Chesterton. Dude, if you've not read this man (probably the most ignored, but most prolific author of the 20th century), you must read his work. His prose is fabulous and his wisdom profound. I also dig Sherlock Holmes and I have many books on him, as well as a large collection of mysteries, science fiction, fantasy, and comics. | | Heroes | Pope Leo XIII (I know...you're saying, who?) and now Pope Benedict XVI. About me:
I'm a writer, a singer, a wife to my terrific husband Joseph and mommy to my little boy Raymond (he's 3 years old). I've had an on-again, off-again writing career for the last 10 years, beginning with writing short comics and prose children's stories for DC Comics Licensed publishing. From there I went into Star Wars, publishing my first book, The Essential Guide to Alien Species, in 2001. The second edition, The New Essential Guide to Alien Species, is out now.
Since that time, I've completed my first novel, Sacred Daughter, a romantic futuristic fantasy about the nephilim. I am now working on a novel-in-stories about the later years of Dr. Watson (of Sherlock Holmes fame) called The Watson Chronicles (site soon to launch). I've also written a couple original stand-alone Holmes stories that I pray will be published sometime soon.
Music is another one of my passions and I am classically trained singer. I've been doing that in what spare time I have.
