I don't have a choice! I was born with music in my soul. I never chose this profession.. it chose me. When I sing and perform I feel ALIVE... To me there's no greater feeling than getting lost in a song and letting it carry you away to that special place. I hope to be able to do that with my music. I'm the middle child of five kids and I found attention through music. My mom claims I sang before I talked-might need footage to believe that one! : ) When I was five years old I sang "Over The Rainbow" at my great-grandmother's funeral. We used to sing that song together a lot and that was a real special moment for me. I learned that my voice was a gift I could use to share with others. I grew up putting on shows all the time for my family with my little brother Anthony (my top friend) so I feel like I've been performing my whole life. I am 23 years old, pursuing my career as a singer/songwriter in Nashville. I come from a farming family and vividly remember driving with my dad in his truck as a kid learning all his favorite, classic songs... especially Patsy Cline. He used to sneak me into bars on karaoke night in the Salinas Valley town of Gonzales, where I won my first grand prize.. This was the start of my under-age singing experiences in clubs! I sang everywhere from church, to school, to sporting events, to charity events, to weddings, to restaurants, to musical theater etc... My mom taught me to never turn down a gig- why is your mom always right?! I've had the opportunity to perform "I Will Always Love You", "God Bless America" and "The Prayer" for David Foster in concert, perform with Kenny G., and open for one of my favorite female country artists, Deana Carter. I've also been honored to share the stage with Peter Cetera, Philip Bailey, Brian McKnight, Richard Marx, and KC and The Sunshine Band. I've played roles such as Maria in "West Side Story", Peter in "Peter Pan, Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz", Sarah in "Guys And Dolls" and Joanne in "Godspell". In school, I spent most of my time writing lyrics in notebooks and singing demo’s for songwriters, including one of my musical heroes Diane Warren. This taught me the art of songwriting and recording. When I visited Nashville on a writing trip, I knew this was where I wanted to be so I packed up my car and made the move a couple months later knowing one person.. Kris Bergsnes(thank you Kris for introducing me to the entire town). I had always read about my favorite artists making the big move to Nashville and I did it!! I have been focusing on becoming a stronger singer, writer, musician and artist. I have always challenged myself to take chances at what I love doing because you never know what's around the corner. Thank you so much for visiting my page! "Let the madness in the music get to you, life ain't so bad at all." - Michael Jackson

Hey! Just stopping by to show some love and let you know that I have a new blog posted, Closer To Me, I would really appreciate it if you would take a moment to read and leave a comment. Thanks so much!!!
If I could make a wish And have it last forever and a day, I would take you in my arms And this is where I'd stay.. For there's no one else I know That holds my heart like you, And I know someday, baby, You'll realize this is true.
If I could make a wish Your lips would be on mine, I'd slowly sip and savor you Like only the finest wine. For there's no one else I know That gives me so much pleasure, And I know someday, baby, You'll see that you're my treasure.
If I could make a wish Our bodies would unite, There's nothing I'd love more Than making love all night. For there's no one else I know Who gives me passion like you do, And I know someday, baby, All my wishes will come true.
If I could make a wish I'd start by making things right, I'd take away all your doubts, And hold you through the night. For there's no one else I know That means as much you see, And I know someday, baby, You'll learn to trust in me.
If I could make a wish. It would be just you and me, No worries in the world, Just happy as can be. For there's no one else I know Who with me, makes the perfect rhyme, And I know someday, baby, In another place in time.
If I could make a wish I'd go to the next lifetime to be with you, I know that you're my soulmate, There's no doubt I know it's true. For there's no one else I know That is my destiny, I know I'm meant for you, And I know you're meant for me.
