Anointed Authors on Tour comprises of a group of seven women, all creators of Christian fiction and nonfiction. The works of these gifted writers have been named to Essence Best Sellers Lists, featured in USA Today, Jet Magazine, Upscale Magazine, The Potter’s Touch television show, BET's Lift Every Voice television show and many other media outlets.
The idea of forming the group was conceived through a casual telephone conversation between authors, Michelle Stimpson and Vanessa Miller. With a vision in their hearts, these ladies reached out to other writers of Christian literature and The Anointed Authors on Tour was born.
The inaugural tour launched when the seven women, many of whom had never met one another, gathered in Atlanta, Georgia in August of 2006. A divine bond was instantly formed and since that time, God has used these vessels to touch the lives and hearts of thousands across the United States as they've traveled together, taking to the masses, the message of Jesus Christ through literature.
The members who make up this fellowship are: Vivi Monroe Congress, Norma Jarrett, Tia McCollors, Vanessa Miller, Kendra Norman-Bellamy, Shewanda Riley, and Michelle Stimpson.
A good woman is proud of herself.
She respects herself and others.
She is aware of who she is.
She neither seeks definition from the person she
is with, or does she expect them to read her mind.
She is quite capable of articulating her needs.
A good woman is hopeful.
She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true.
She knows love, therefore she gives love.
She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated.
If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears.
A good woman has a dash of inspiration, a dabble of endurance.
She knows that she will, at times, have to inspire others to reach the potential
God gave them.
A good woman knows her past, understands her present and
moves toward the future.
A good woman knows God.
She knows that with God the world is her playground,
but without God she will just be played.
A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she
understands that her life experiences are merely lessons, meant to bring
her closer to self knowledge and unconditional self love.
