They finish their excellent set with Picking Up The Pieces, which is another track off their ep and sees Rob Fairbank on sythn instead of guitar. The track is holding, creating a tension, an anticipation, you want it to go...and then it does, stepping up the tempo, another explosion, the vocals soar, the atmosphere is built, the track blasts, rocks, and as Rob leaves the stage the guitar echoes to a close. Some epic drama to match the powerful sound they have given us.

Thanks for the comments! Those chawns are actually old recordings that we've scrapped. We've just finished re-recording... as we did it ourselves we encountered a few issues that became unrepairable. We just want to start gigging as its been nearly a year and we are losing focus. Are you guys gunna be around january? We could maybe make a double date?

I just wanted to stop by to say hello and give you a little update on what Blood Root Mother is up to! We will be recording an EP of new music in August, and we recently finished recording a live DVD. The DVD is currently unreleased and I actually just saw it for the first time a few days ago. It features the last two performances with Tony Ellis still alive, and some footage from the tribute show we played on the night of his funeral.
There are some cool covers, as well as some NEW music that will be on our upcoming EP. We're very excited about the new music and we'd like to share a sneak peak with you. Here's a video of a new tune called Run Bobby Run:
