Lisa E. Carmody, BA, MA, "The Deaf Anomalist," was born deaf. She is co-author of "Mysteries and Monsters"”, which she co-authored with Ed Craft, "The Original Anomalist," who is a severe epileptic and the author of “UFOs the Dossier”. Their groundbreaking work together as a couple, partners, investigators, and researchers in the field of anomalous phenomena has opened the door for many individuals with disabilities and made the public aware of the value of the very "abled" in the field of anomalous investigation and research. They continue their efforts of public awareness and education through public speaking and lectures designed for the general public as well as the hearing, seeing and special needs communities that are interested in learning and exploring anomalous phenomena in any capacity possible.
Their radio interviews are unique in that they are the first to present a system in which Ed Craft, who is hearing, conducts a normal interview for the hearing audience, while Lisa chats with and answers questions in the chat room with hearing impaired audience as well as the general public interested in the unexplained.
They have effectively overcome obstacles between the hearing, deaf and other special needs communities to offer an open alternative so both can share information about the unexplained. They are constantly looking for new ways to bridge the distances between the communities, like the printing of their books in larger than necessary fonts for the seeing-impaired and changing the formatting to make it easier on those with families suffering from disorders that affect the brain and its ability to keep up with chapters.

Lisa E. Carmody, BA, MA, “The Deaf Anomalist ™,” Lisa was born deaf the home of WWII NAZI Jewish holicost surviving family, her father a second generation testiment with no Polish family to PROVE, "The Real Truth."
Lisa has traveled to England and Ireland where she has explored many historical, legendary and mythical sites, including Stonehenge and Dozmarie, the very lake said to be home to the mythical sword “Excalibur.” Lisa has also seen firsthand faerie circles in Ireland and has explored England’s Tower of London and Hampton Court, former home of Henry the 8th said to be haunted by some of his six wives. Closer to home, she has investigated both the U.S.S. Hornet, Fort Point & the Stokes Adobe.
Lisa's no-nonsense approach to investigations would on the surface, seem to blend with her rich Jewish heritage and its traditional beliefs, but her own interesting blending of spiritual ideals adds an interesting twist to the mix. Her lack of hearing only heightens her, "abilities," which seem to ground her in a silent realism that provides her with a knack for "thinking outside the box."

Ed Craft, D.D.(hon. divinitatis doctor)“The Original Anomalist™,” is a U.S. Army Veteran and a severe epileptic that was been diagnosed with four forms of active seizures. But, not allowing it to slow him down, he is a Fellow at the Pangea Institute and a veteran investigator and researcher who has experienced unexplained lights, bipedal hairy creatures and a variety of anomalous phenomena. He has explored the ruins at Teotihuacán in Mexico, the "Winchester Mystery House," the U.S.S. Hornet, Fort Point, and investigated the "Swamp Ape" in Florida swamps.
Ed has been interviewed on both national & international radio, national news print and national television by the likes of Coast to Coast's George Noory and Destination Truth's Josh Gates. With over twenty-five years of research in the field, Ed has taken a path of applied science, "letting the cream rise to the top" and an open mind to discover a “keeping it real” approach to investigating unexplained.
