Anonimix is a rare Anglo-Sicilian blend of cultures and styles, where north meets south, acoustic meets electronic, and elements of pop, rock, folk and jazz embrace each other on a vibrant bed of Mediterranean and Latin-American rhythms. Thoughtful lyrics, eclectic piano, mellow reeds and lively percussion blend together harmoniously to create a distinctly original sound that escapes easy classification but assures a highly rewardable and enjoyable listen.
Anonimix was born late one evening in the autumn of the year 1999 in a small converted garage in the rugged, lava-black foothills of Mount Etna, on the east coast of Sicily. An only child of mixed parentage, Anonimix's infancy was strongly marked by the regular, structured, pop/rock influences of an English father and the looser jazz/ethnic influences and rhythms of a Sicilian mother. Raised and nurtured on such classic childhood development aids as Cubase and Stylus, Anonimix began at an early age to explore the
delicate art of blending the acoustic instrumentation of those critical formative years with more modern, carefully selected electronic sounds. Timid by nature, Anonimix is not known for extravagant live exhibitions, preferring the quiet intimacy of the garage/studio to fashion and shape with calm reflection the songs and instrumental tracks that are offered here for your listening pleasure. Finalmente nasce su Second Life (mondo virtuale che conta circa 3 milioni e mezzo di abitanti) la prima isola italiana totalmente dedicata alla musica e all’arte in genere: IBRIDARTE. Un nuovo spazio promozionale in versione 3D per distribuire musica e prodotti artistici.
IBRIDARTE diventerà il porto franco per tutti quei progetti che non trovano spazio sufficiente nella Real Life, un megafono per gli artisti che intendono amplificare il loro messaggio artistico.
Uno spazio dove lo stato dell’arte verrà messo in primo piano, dove gli utenti potranno diventare protagonisti, proponendo loro stessi progetti da promuovere.
Ogni giorno verrà organizzato un concerto/evento totalmente gratuito con artisti della scena italiana e internazionale, al quale sarà possibile assistere da dentro Second Life o attraverso lo streaming su alcuni siti internet; un altro appuntamento fisso settimanale sarà lo show con ospiti a sorpresa, una specie di salotto musicale dove ascoltare ottima musica e poter parlare delle problematiche che la circondano.
Ma la vera novità è la radio che avrà sede in questa isola: RADIO INDIE. Una radio che manderà in streaming 24 ore su 24 il meglio della musica indipendente che vive su MYSPACE (il portale più famoso per la promozione della musica mondiale) e CAMION RECORDS (la prima etichetta indipendente che è nata totalmente su internet). RADIO INDIE lancerà a questo proposito un concorso su Myspace e su Camion Records, i cui vincitori entreranno di diritto nel palinsesto della radio. I due mondi più famosi del web uniranno così le forze per la promozione di tutta quella musica che ancora oggi cerca spazi per rendere visibili i propri prodotti.

There's a small Coffee Cafe here in Massapequa that I go to once in awhile. The other day I did ask them to change the music and brought my CD of your music in for them to play, well They just loved it! Everyone want to know why they never heard it before and where to get it. I made a suggestion for them to contact you and may be sell your CD in their Coffee Cafe.
