Todo empezó en el año 2004 cuando dos amigos del colegio, Niki y Gallego, decidieron formar su propio grupo pop punk. En un principio el grupo encontró algunas dificultades para encontrar a otros miembros, pero finalmente se unieron dos componentes más y completaron el grupo: Cristian y Alejandro. El grupo ha ganado rápidamente fama y reconocimiento dentro y fuera del país, tocando en locales tan importantes como: Razzmatazz, Mephisto, Apolo, Clap, Hard Rock Café (Barcelona), Dijousderock... entre otros. Anonymous participó en el festival de Eurovisión el año 2007 en Helsinki, representando a Andorra con su propia composición “Salvem el món” en catalán e inglés quedando 12º en la semifinal contra 28 países. Dicha posición está vista como un éxito considerando la naturaleza del concurso. Críticas frente a su actuación fueron extremadamente positivas después del concurso tanto de media internacional como de fans, llegando al tercer lugar del ranking de favoritos según apuestas en Internet y siendo el single TOP 3 del ranking de ventas AFYBE en España la semana del 23 de abril al 29 de abril de 2007. Anonymous también quedó segundo en el festival GBOB spain (Guerra de bandas) y actualmente está compitiendo en la semifinal del Emergenza music festival, quedando primeros en la ultima ronda. El grupo tiene un seguimiento constante por toda Europa: en la radio, programas de TV y en la prensa así como en Internet. Everything started back in 2004 when two good school friends, Niki and Gallego, decided to start their own pop punk band. In the beginning it was hard finding other band members interested in the same type of music, but eventually two more members were found, joined, and completed their group: Cristian and Alejandro. The band has quickly gained recognition in and out of the country and has played in the most prestigious venues of Spain and Andorra (Razzmatazz, Mephisto, Apolo, Clap, Mini Olimpics 2005, Dijousderock…). Anonymous participated in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki with their own composition Salvem el mon, in Catalan and English. They placed 12th in the semi final amongst 28 countries, which is regarded as an achievement considering the nature of the contest. Reactions to the band’s performance were extremely positive right after the contest both from international media and fans. Anonymous came second in GBOB Spain (Battle of the Bands), and is presently in the Emergenza music festival semi-finals where they came first in their last round. The band continually gets lots of coverage across Europe on radio stations, television programmes, and in the press, as well as the internet.
