AN ORANGUTAN, four piece rock-n-roll out of Little Rock, AR was formed in late 2007 with the intention of bringing purely enjoyable music to all walks of life, including those partial to one of the many genre-driven cliques that have smothered the music industry today. In their short lifespan, An Orangutan has built up a solid fan-base playing nearly every regional venue, releasing two demos, and saturating show-goers with their infectious sound and charisma. The group has over 50 years combined musical experience coming from bands such as howy rogga (experimental instrumental), oceanliner (indie/post-hardcore), encomium (spacey post-hardcore), and Sean Michel (American Idol contestant). Ranging in age from 23 to 25, all members have spent ample time on the road, learned the ropes, saw the sights, poured the sweat and blood, and dedicated themselves to music. This group spends countless hours writing, recording, producing, pressing, booking, designing, and performing any other task brought forth by this lifestyle.
