death, mr. bungle, the scorpions, backyard, tool, isis, mastodon, elvis costello, fugazi, cannibal corpse, cheech and chong, dave batista, that hardcore band from north carolina that sings that song called "i like cheese sandwiches", all that other shit that the headbangers like...
death metal, hardcore, classic 80s power metal, stoner rock, post-hardcore, thrash, 70s progressive rock, funk, peace and soul!!!! electric sleaze, jungle exotica, old skool rap, the soundtrack to some wonderfully awful italian zombie movie such as City of the Living Dead, or L'Etrusco uccide ancora
Another Dying Democracy is A.D.D. and it is what it is, no purism here: a veritable cornucopia of off beat and on-point, with all members working as one unit to create music that moves us.
Based in NYC and spawned around 6 years ago from Jess out of a metal crust band Sick of the Abuse, along with Gigi who was then in the Bronx hardcore band Proof of Purchase, and later Teresa who played bass with Gigi in Face the Truth.
After a year of Gigi playing across the globe with other projects, she's back, along with Aiyisha (ex Defiled Souls) on vocals.
As of January 2008, Gigi is currently on hiatus in Europe, playing with J.L.S. among other bands. Before she left, we shot the videos that are on our front page, as well as a 5-song recording at Play Studios in Manhattan. It's still in the mixing stage but will be out soon!
Our 2005 CD with Rob on vocals is available- write us for a copy, or you can download the songs from snocap.
Hey what's up. Glad to see you're still metal as fuck. Grim Aria broke up but Mikey and Jon started a new band called THE CLAW. Check 'em out when you get a chance.
Oh, good you know. Same old. Going to school. Almost done, I graduate in May. Rob is working a lot. I am going to Florence for a week with my school for this research trip so I am phyced about that. All is well. Thanks for asking!
