About me: Another Life Foundation is the nation's only consumer-run organization dedicated to helping individuals battling with suicidal behaviors.
ALifeF is working with mental health agencies, community health centers, doctors, and emergency physicians who see many patients who have attempted suicide, and may continue to make attempts until they get help or die. Many suicides might be prevented if everyone learns to recognize the warning signs and know how to access help, such as that offered by Another Life Foundation. The Mentoring Program works to pair clients and mentors with similar experiences. Mentors will offer their experience and hope. They are simply there to share with clients workable solutions to their problems, while remaining compassionate, understanding and objective in a loving manner.
We want to protect the client, but we also want to protect the mentors. So we give them the skills and support they need as well.

Our goal is to make people aware that there are organizations who want to help, to make suicide prevention & awareness something that needs to be discussed, not kept quiet, to reduce hospitalizations, the use of emergency services, and to save lives.

hi sister's alot of you have asked about our conventions and i wanted to write this to answer some of the questions. our goal is to travel nationwide around the united states to different cities to reach out to woman and our show is going to be remarkable we will cover the abuse ,drug addiction,rape,molestation,and so much more that we as sister's had to go thru in our live's and so many other woman also.we want to give the tools to get the help plus face the depression and low self esteem woman have because of paths they took in thier life but also let them know to pick them selves up and learn to love themselves no matter what!! the show will have skit's that will rock you off your seat and 8 of us sister's will be there at each show to meet everyone and let you hear our stories of survival.we plan on keeping the ticket price's low and all the money we make doing these show's will go towards helping to get woman out of shelters and into a new home and to help cancer patients with travel fee's when they are going all over for treatment to try and fight the ugly disease.plus so much more we want to help with but so many woman are left helpless and have no place to go and so do these young run away teens we want to travel and talk to them also.we are asking all our sister's to please pass this info around we are basically begging for sponsers so we can have our 1st show and be able to get our liabilty ins that is required. all my life i have been the type of person to never ask for anyone's help but this is for such a good cause and i truly believe in my volunteers & sister's and we want to make a difference in so many people's live's but we just need that 1st angel to help us with fundin
