Heroes
ANOTHER PLANET supports the Sara Lee Trust, a Hastings-based charity which offers complementary therapies to people with cancer.
Here they are: www.sarahleetrust.org
We also like Eat@ in Claremont, because it's run by cool people, and it's fully wheelchair accessible so our mate Esther can get in.
Punked-up choons for the broad-minded and narrow-tied, polymorphous perversity a speciality.
We run one-off nights at Eat @, playing the kind of tunes we like to hear but can't generally in Hastings.
The night's run by Erica and Melita, and DJs include Bec, DJ Voyage, Lianne, DJ Viking and Melita.
Thanks to everyone who came to see Lady Carol.
Lady Carol knocked us out at the Brighton Fringe Festival with her ukulele, amazing voice and hilarious comedy. She won 'Best Music Event' at the Brighton Festival and Fringe, head to head with Antony & The Johnsons, so it was a toughie.
We hope you enjoyed her gig as much as we did, and we plan to ask Lady Carol back next year after she's done her stints in Edinburgh and Australia. Check out our blog for a quick review.
At any of our nights you're welcome to make a donation to local charity the Sara Lee Trust (more info in our 'Heroes' section). Erica's also running the New York Marathon in aid of the Sara Lee Trust so pop her a few bob for that.
Be prepared to come to dance, meet new people, dress to impress and party!
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who likes good music, dancing and meeting unusual people
